This is a proceeding by certiorari, brought by permission in the original jurisdiction of this Court, for the purpose of reviewing an order made by the County Board of Registration of Spartanburg County. The only question for determination is whether a petition filed with said Board, asking that an election be had for the purpose of electing a member of the Board of Trustees for Cunningham School District No. 42, met the requirements of Section 5657 of the 1942 Code, the pertinent portion of which is as follows: “Upon a written…
