This action was brought to recover a judgment in the sum of nine thousand nine hundred and fourteen dollars, with interest; and, in that connection, for a writ of attachment against the defendant *219to attach and seize property to the amount of four thousand dollars, and for a judgment decreeing that property transferred by his debtor to his co-defendant was made in fraud of his rights as creditor.

In his original petition, plaintiff sets out that, in the year 1885, his father, whose rights this plaintiff, being his only heir, inherited, engaged…
