This is an action on a promissory, note. The plaintiff is a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Minnesota, transacting business as a grain commission merchant at Minneapolis and Duluth, under a license issued by the State Rail*260road and Warehouse Commission of that state, and duly bonded as such. It is a member of the Chamber- of Commerce of Minneapolis and also of the Chamber of Commerce Clearing Association of said city, both of which organizations are corporations under the laws of the state of Minnesota.
