The Southland Ice Company sued the City of Temple for specific performance of a. contract and in the alternative for damages.
The Company was the owner of certain real estate in the City of Temple, Texas. It had used this property as an ice manufacturing plant and cold storage plant. On or about July 29, 1937, the City Manager inquired of the Company’s President whether the property was for sale.
