This was an action to recover a lot of land, containing four acres, more or less, in the village of New Summerville. The plaintiff proved title. It was admitted that she was the owner of the lot, and in possession of it on June 3, 1889, when the defendants took possession under a tax deed from W. M. Hale, sheriff of Berkeley County.
