This is an action of contract to recover $5,000 on an insurance policy issued by the defendant on the life of Awdokia Kukuruza, the wife of the plaintiff, and payable to the plaintiff as beneficiary upon her death. On motion of the defendant a verdict for it'was directed, and the plaintiff excepted.
