I. INTRODUCTION

Defendant, Michael Earl Hunt, appeals the judgment entered after he pled no contest to one count of transporting cocaine in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11352, subdivision (a). Defendant transported the cocaine on March 7, 2012. As we will discuss in detail, pursuant to a plea *15bargain, defendant was sentenced to nine years in prison; the execution of sentence was suspended; and defendant was placed on probation.
