The State Highway Commissioner, after conducting hearings, decided that the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines should be permitted to discontinue its trains numbered 609 and 610 between Camden and Olementon and its trains numbered 754 and 775 between Camden and Millville. An appeal to the Appellate Division was taken from this decision by Alfred Sprissler and three unions, namely, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
