OPINION
{¶ 1} Appellant, Jeffrey T. Fogle, appeals the judgment entered by the Portage County Court of Common Pleas. The trial court sentenced Fogle to an eight-year prison term for his conviction for assembly or possession of chemicals to manufacture a controlled substance.
{¶ 2} In 2007, Fogle began a relationship with Amber Stemple ("Stemple"). Initially, Fogle and Stemple lived in Fogle's apartment in Akron, Ohio. Later, they moved into Laura Cox's home in Brimfield Township, Ohio. Laura Cox is Stemple's grandmother, and Stemple and Fogle stayed in one of the bedrooms in her home. In…
