This was an action brought by 4he plaintiff as trustee against the defendants to recover of them a certain per cent, of the unpaid subscription to the capital stock of the National Express and Transportation Company, a corporation chartered and organized under the law of the State of Virginia. The corporation was organized in 1866, under a charter granted by the Legislature of Virginia in 1865, subject to the general laws of that State, relating to corporations or joint stock companies.
