Eloise Childs filed her complaint against Whiteway Laundry & Dry Cleaners, Inc. seeking to recover damages for injuries suffered when she was struck by the defendant’s truck in the crosswalk at the intersection of Bay and Bull Streets in Savannah. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights. Bay Street is a four-lane street, with two lanes for eastbound and two for westbound traffic.
