This is a suit in trespass to try title, brought by the appellants against the appellees to recover lots 3 to 8 and 11 to 13 in block 25 of the West Houston addition to the city of Houston. Defendants answered by general denial and plea of not guilty, and by disclaiming lots 11 to 13.
Briefly stated, the facts are as follows: The state brought suit against A. B. Floyd and others, foreclosing a tax lien on the above-described property. This property was sold under this judgment by the sheriff on August 6, 1907, and was bought by Lillian M. Randall. The deed from the sheriff was dated August 6,…
