BAUER, Circuit Judge.
On February 25,1992, a federal grand jury indicted Russel J. Lesperance for willfully falsifying material facts in order to obtain a Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loan in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001. A jury of his peers convicted Lesperance on this charge later that year. The district court sentenced Lesperance to four months imprisonment, four months of home confinement, and two years of supervised release.
