This case comes up on report on an agreed statement of facts. Edward H. Haskell, a resident of Massachusetts, died testate January 8, 1924. The largest part of the property of the deceased consisted of shares of stock in the Great Northern Paper Company, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Maine. The will of the deceased was duly probated in the County of Middlesex, Massachusetts, and the above mentioned shares of stock were there subjected to an inheritance tax, of like character to the inheritance tax in Maine, and a tax thereon, amounting to $32,190.53, was…
