delivered the opinion of the court.

This is a suit brought by Caroline Long, appellee, in the circuit court of Bock Island county against the City of Bock Island, appellant, to recover damages for an injury she claims to have sustained by reason of her falling on a sidewalk of appellant. A trial was had and the jury returned a verdict for appellee in the sum of $1,200. A new trial was denied and judgment rendered on the verdict of the jury, from which appellant prosecutes this appeal.
