Action to recover the value of 23 head of cattle, lost while in transit from Manitoba to Chicago. The trial court directed a verdict in favor of plaintiffs and against the defendant St. Paul Union Stock Yards Company, submitting to the jury only the question of the amount which plaintiff was entitled to recover under the proofs, and directed a verdict in favor of each of the other defendants.
