This case had its origin in an action at law brought by the appellant to recover damages from the appellees for the alleged wrongful release of a deed of trust securing two bonds in the sum of $225 each.
The defendants in that action in order to secure the benefit of their defenses in equity, filed their bill in the suit under review, praying an injunction to stay the prosecution of the action at law until a decision by a court of equity.
