DURHAM, Justice:

The defendant was convicted of unlawful distribution for value of a controlled substance under U.C.A., 1953, § 58-37-8(l)(a)(iii) (Supp.1985). A pretrial motion to dismiss based on a theory of entrapment was denied, and the jury likewise rejected the defendant’s entrapment defense. The defendant argues on appeal that the facts show entrapment as a matter of law.
