Opinion

MIHALAKOS, J.

The defendant, Luis Sostre, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of attempt to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-49 and 53a-54a (a), and assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59. The sole issue on appeal is whether a remark made *850by the prosecutor in his rebuttal argument to the jury amounted to prosecutorial misconduct that deprived the defendant of a fair trial. We conclude that the defendant was not denied a fair trial and, therefore, affirm the judgment of the trial court.
