I concur in Section II of the opinion that the district court judge did not abuse his discretion in denying the plaintiff’s motion to increase the damage award or in denying the plaintiff’s motion for a new trial. I, likewise, concur in Section III of the opinion that the district court judge did not abuse his discretion in awarding the plaintiff $32,643 in attorney’s fees. I dissent, however, from the majority’s conclusion in Section I of the opinion that the district court judge erred in entering judgment notwithstanding the verdict in favor of the intervening defendant, Sawyer County,…
