This is a suit by appellant insurance company against J. J. Love and J. T. Stark on nine promissory notes dated April 2, 1912, eight of said notes being for the sum of $200 each, and the ninth for $154.35. Each note is payable to the Gulf Live Stock Insurance Company at Orange, Tex., with 10 per cent, per annum interest thereon from date, and providing for the usual 10 per cent, attorney’s fee. The first one of said notes is payable on June 15, 1912, and the other eight are due and payable respectively on the 15th day of each succeeding month after June 15, 1912.
