This is Duane Henry’s direct appeal of his juiy conviction for premeditated first-degree murder of Sheila Winter and his subsequent sentence to life imprisonment.

Henry raises five issues: (1) Did the issuing magistrate have a substantial basis for concluding probable cause existed to issue a search warrant for the seizure of Henry’s blood and hair samples?
