MEMORANDUM OPINION

(August 19, 2008)

Before the Court is the motion of defendant Andrew Parker Wein (“Wein”) to quash service of the summons and complaint in this matter.

I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

The minor plaintiff in this matter, Marian Jessen (“Jessen”), was aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean in March, 2008, when she was allegedly forced into a cabin and sexually assaulted by Wein and his co-defendants, Alexander Nabih Kanawati and Javier.
