BRYANT, Judge:

On 18 September 2000, a military judge, sitting as a general court-martial, convicted the appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of violating a lawful general order, reckless operation of a motor vehicle resulting in death, drunken operation of a motor vehicle resulting in death, and negligent homicide, in violation of Articles 92, 111, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892, 911, and 934. Contrary to his pleas, the appellant was also convicted of making a false official statement, in violation of Article 107, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 907. The appellant was sentenced to…
