Plaintiffs seek supervisory review of the trial court’s decision to grant exceptions of prematurity and failure to exhaust administrative remedies in this mandamus action against the St. Bernard Parish School Board.

The written judgment granting the exceptions was signed by the trial judge on August 25, 2000. On October 12, 2000, a duty judge signed a “Notice of Intention to Apply for Writs,” giving the plaintiffs until October 13, 2000, to file writs in this court.
