Final judgment on the pleadings: The municipality of Sweet-water commenced this cause by filing its complaint seeking declaratory and other relief against the county. The complaint essentially asked the court to declare that the city’s purported annexation of approximately five acres of real property adjacent to its municipal borders was legal and valid and had the effect of incorporating the land within the municipal boundaries.
