BACKGROUND

Plaintiffs (bus drivers, shifters, and mechanics employed by the New York City Transit Authority (“NYCTA”)) have filed seven complaints, 1 claiming that Defendant manufacturers of urban transit buses and diesel engines are liable for harm caused to Plaintiffs due to Plaintiffs’ ingestion of harmful diesel exhaust fumes. (Am. Compl. ¶ 35; 113.)
