INTRODUCTION

Tina L. (Mother) petitions for a writ of mandate to compel the juvenile court to vacate its orders terminating reunification services as to her children Rayna N. and Rudy L., and setting a permanency planning hearing under Welfare and Institutions Code section 366.26.1 Mother contends that the court failed to comply with the notice requirements of the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 (ICWA; 25 U.S.C. § 1901 et seq.), and of recently enacted California statutes governing custody proceedings involving Indian children (§ 224 et seq.).
