Trial in this age discrimination case commenced on April 4,2003. After a sixteen day trial, the jury found that while defendants Coatings Incorporated (“Coatings)” and Antonio Vazquez (“Vazquez”) (collectively defendants) had not discriminated against plaintiff Isabel Acevedo Martinez (“Acevedo”) on account of her age, they had nonetheless retaliated against her for filing a complaint of age discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”),29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq., and 29 L.P.R.A. § 146 et sea., (“Law 100”).
