The parties were married in 1983. Two children were born of the marriage. In 1991 the husband filed a complaint for divorce. The wife counterclaimed. Following oral proceedings, the trial court divided the marital property, denied the wife periodic alimony, and denied the wife’s request for an interest in the husband’s pending lawsuits for damages and workmen’s compensation benefits.
