This appeal comes to us from Multidis-trict Litigation case number 875 (“MDL 875” or “Asbestos MDL”), which involves several thousand asbestos cases from around the country. Appellants, forty-four plaintiffs designated as the “North Dakota Pipefitter II Group Plaintiffs” (“Appellants”), 1 appeal the District Court’s sua sponte dismissal of their claims (the “Pipe-fitter II cases”) for failure to prosecute, as well as the District Court’s denial of their motion for reconsideration.
