This is an appeal by Aveneal Meaux and Dudley Bourque, employees of the Department of Highways of the State of Louisiana, from an adverse decision rendered by the Civil Service Commission.

Appellants had filed an appeal to the Civil Service Commission in which they alleged that they were employees of the Department of Highways, as bridge tenders on the Perry Bridge in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, and that contrary to the Constitution and laws of the State of Louisiana, and the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission, the Department of Highways illegally enlarged the…
