On May 24, 1941, two actions were filed in the Jefferson circuit court by Elizabeth Braun against Mary Reichert Smith, one to have the plaintiff adjudged the owner of stock of the Lincoln Building & Loan Association of Louisville, Kentucky, then held in the name of the defendant, and the other to set aside a deed in. which the plaintiff had conveyed to the defendant an interest in a house and lot located at 954 Baxter avenue in Louisville.
