The defendant was convicted of the murder of one Dan Kibler and sentenced to life imprisonment. He pleaded self-defense, and relies, for a reversal of the verdict and sentence, upon a bill of exception taken to the refusal of the judge to allow him to prove that Kibler had previously threatened to kill him.
