These disciplinary matters are before the Court on the report and recommendation of a special master appointed by this Court on two disciplinary matters filed against Respondent William M. Peterson, a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1988.1 The special master found that Peterson had violated Rules 1.16 (d)2 and 8.1 (a)3 of Rule 4-102 (d) of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct in connection with his representation of one client (Case No. S11Y0423), and Rules 1.3, 1.4,4 and 8.1 (a) in connection with his representation of a second client that is the subject of Case No. S11Y0424.…
