¶ 1. On February 2, 2004, La’Quinta Lewis, representing himself, was convicted by a Walthall County jury of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The Walthall County Circuit Court sentenced him to life imprisonment for the armed-robbery charge and five years for the conspiracy-to-commit-armed-robbery charge, all in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
