Jimmy Seek, appellant, pleaded guilty to charges of residential burglary, kidnapping, and sexual abuse, for which he received a fifteen-year sentence to the Arkansas Department of Correction. After the trial court entered its judgment and commitment order, Seek filed a motion to withdraw his guilty pleas pursuant to Ark R. Crim. P. 26.1. He alleged that the pleas were not voluntarily and intelligently made because Lewis Littlepage, his attorney, misled him as to the punishment he would receive.
