THOMPSON, Circuit Justice.
The complainant, by his bill, asks an injunction to restrain the defendant from the further printing, publishing and selling a chart purporting to be a chart of the north-eastern coast of North America, so far as the same relates to the South shoal of Nantucket, and the soundings adjacent thereto; and also to-George's bank and the soundings adjacent thereto; and between the said bank and Cape Ann, and Nantucket shoals, alleging that the said chart published by the defendant, and the surveys and soundings copied thereon, were copied and taken from surveys and…
