OPINION

TAFT, Justice.

Appellant, Father Khoat Van Tran, sued two sets of defendants, the Most Reverend Bishop Joseph A. Fiorenza and the Catholic Diocese of Galveston-Houston, and the Reverend Monsignor Sidney J. Marceaux and the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont, for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional harm. Both sets of defendants filed motions for summary judgment which were granted.
