After appellant John Roberts failed to comply with a court order compelling the production of certain documents requested by appellee, the Internal Revenue Service (“I.R.S. or “Service”), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia found him in civil contempt, imposing prison time and daily fines to pressure Roberts into obedience with the Court’s earlier mandate.
