This appeal arises out of a suit to recover damages for personal injuries by the Plaintiff/Appellee as a result of a slip and fall accident at the Defendant’s/Appellant’s store. The trial court ruled in favor of the Plaintiff. We affirm.

FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

On May 23, 2001, Cathy Rodriguez filed suit in Alexandria City Court for damages she allegedly sustained due to a slip and fall accident outside of the Wal-Mart store located on North Mall Drive in Alexandria, Louisiana.
