This is an appeal by plaintiff from a judgment rendered against him in the district court, and involves a lot and the improvements thereon in Great Falls.

In 1909 plaintiff purchased the lot from a town site company for the sum of $456; in 1910 a two-story brick building of the value of $18,000 and a one-story brick warehouse of the value of $2,000 were constructed upon the lot. Plaintiff at the trial testified he got some money from his father, J. S. Newman, to construct the building, just how much he does not remember, but it appears…
