In this lawsuit, plaintiff William G. Marshall, Jr., M.D., asserts state-law defamation claims against defendants Edward Planz, M.D. (his former business partner), and Southeastern Cardiovascular Associates (a corporation of which Marshall was formerly a shareholder and employee).
