This is an action tó recover judgment on three negotiable instruments and for recognition and enforcement of a pledge on certain described personal property. Two of the instruments sued upon consist of promissory notes executed and signed by defendant, payable to plaintiff, the first for $165.00 dated November 6, 1957, and the second for $323.50 dated February 18, 1958, and payable March 10, 1958.
