This case involves appeals from convictions rendered after jury trials. Appellants Robert C. Lewis and James E. Boardley were found guilty of conspiring to commit bribery, 18 U.S.C. § 371, and of soliciting bribery, 18 U.S.C. § 201(c). Appellant Tommy Motlagh was found guilty of conspiring to defraud the District of Columbia, 22 D.C.Code § 105a(a).
