|2In this custody suit, the father appeals a trial court judgment modifying a prior custody decree. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

Brad Hebert and Jessica Schexnayder are the parents of a minor child born in February of 2008. They were never married. Brad filed a petition for filiation in April of 2008, and also sought joint custody, establishment of a physical custody schedule, and other incidental matters.
