HOGAN, Presiding Judge.

This case is, at least nominally, an action to modify the child custody provisions of a decree of divorce. Involved and at issue is the custody of eight of the parties’ ten children. The trial court has awarded general custody of the children to the defendant, and the plaintiff has appealed.

We are not advised when the plaintiff and defendant were married, but they were divorced on April 20, 1966, in the Circuit Court of Jasper County, Missouri. During their marriage, they became the parents of ten children. At the time this action was tried, the two eldest children —…
