Appellant brought this action to recover damages for an alleged libel. The supposed libelous matter was contained in a bill filed in the United States court for the district of Washington by the National Bank of Commerce of Tacoma, one of the respondents, against its former officers and directors, which bill alleged, in substance, that the defendants in that action, while managing the affairs of the bank, had negligently loaned large sums of money, aggregating about $42,000, to the plaintiff in this action; that he (the plaintiff) had no…
