OPINION ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS

ANN CRAWFORD McCLURE, Justice.

This is a medical malpractice case in which the trial court denied the hospital’s motion to dismiss and granted the plaintiffs a thirty-day extension of time to cure deficient expert reports. The hospital has also filed an interlocutory appeal based upon the same allegations. This mandamus action was brought as a precautionary remedy in the event we determined no interlocutory appeal was available.
