This is an action to quiet title to a*

farm, a quarter section in Cerro Gordo county, and to certain personal property on the farm, or, in the alternative, to impress a lien on the land for improvements placed thereon by the plaintiff. Certain facts are undisputed or so clearly established as to be treated as verities by us. A statement of such facts will clarify the issues presented by the rather voluminous pleadings herein.
